Captain Tsubasa: Rivals is a tap-to-win game on Telegram, and with the licensing of a major football-themed anime brand behind it, plenty of players have already signed up to play. With some sort of TON-based airdrop planned for the future, the race is on again to collect as much in-game currency as possible to boost any potential future payouts.
Of course, you can tap to earn balls (also known as coins or points in other tapping games), but like most of these games, the real way to increase your number of balls is to buy upgrades, participate in daily challenges, and complete some additional tasks.
If you want to maximize your time before the eventual airdrop, these tips will help you get the most balls as quickly as possible in Captain Tsubasa: Rivals on Telegram.
Expand your team
Captain Tsubasa Rivals is, effectively, a clone of Hamster Kombat. But, what makes it stand out is that instead of purchasing random Cryptocurrency-related upgrades for your imaginary exchange, you can acquire and upgrade new players for your soccer team – quite a fun twist!

It makes thematic sense, but what’s even better is that these players actually generate a lot of passive income, even as you increase their levels. We have focused on getting as many players as possible and now have a good amount of passive income coming in each day. It hardly seems worth touching once you’ve increased your passive income rate.
Do the daily combination, if you can
Captain Tsubasa’s daily combo feature works just like Hamster Kombat’s: each day three upgrades are chosen from the entire selection to form the combo, and if you upgrade or purchase them all on that day, then you’ll get a huge ball bonus. . In other words, you’ll receive a big in-game payout just for upgrading your equipment… which also increases your passive income in the future.
Looking for the daily combo? Captain Tsubasa: Rivals won’t tell you, but we will; We have released a daily combo guide for the game which we will be updating daily.
The caveat here is that some upgrades are locked behind referral objectives, so if you don’t have friends you may not be able to complete all the combos. So do the ones you can and don’t worry about the ones you can’t.
Change the player you click on
As far as we can tell, this is simply a cosmetic change and offers absolutely no gameplay advantage whatsoever, so it’s perhaps debatable to call it a tip. However, you can change the player you click on using the change button on the home page.
When you press that button, you’ll be presented with a list of all the players you’ve unlocked so far, and you can select one of them to be your player on the main screen instead of Tsubasa. It’s a purely cosmetic change, but I’ve found that changing it daily has kept things a little fresher than in other games, where the splash screen could look identical for months.
Ignore tap increases
Like many tapping games, tapping isn’t all that profitable compared to increasing your passive income, and in Captain Tsubasa, the numbers quickly don’t add up. You could spend a lot of balls to improve how many you get per tap via multitap boost, and how many times you can tap in a single session… or you could invest the same amount in improving a player or team and earn many more balls passive over time.
Even initially, the cost of one of those upgrades will easily pay for itself in no time, saving you the time and hassle of repeatedly tapping your phone’s screen. Play however you want, but this move is all about efficiency.

Complete free tasks
If you want a one-time income of free balls, there’s a big list of social media-related tasks that give you rewards… but you don’t actually have to do many of them. All the tasks that ask you to do something on Twitter (aka X) don’t actually check to see if you’ve done it. That means you can click the task button, which opens the Twitter app, then simply return to Telegram and claim the reward. They’re free balls for a little hassle when switching apps.
You will need friends
While not as bad as other tap-to-win games, Captain Tsubasa: Rivals locks some upgrade options behind the number of referrals you have, meaning that if you don’t have some friends to invite to the game, then you won’t be able to. Unlock certain upgrades and players.
It’s not a major issue as there are still a good number of upgrades you can access, but if you want to maximize your ball count then you’ll need to convince at least a few friends to join the game and help you unlock some. of the key pieces for your football dynasty.
