Machado briefly explained the objectives of the fundraising campaign, drawing attention to the characteristics of bitcoin and praising the use of technologies such as cryptocurrencies to ensure financial autonomy and help rebuild Venezuela’s economy.
“Bitcoin avoids government-imposed exchange rates and helps many of our people… It has gone from being a humanitarian tool to a vital means of resistance,” the opposition leader said.
