The founder of the Hex Cryptocurrency, Richard James Schueler, known as Richard Heart, faces serious accusations after being placed at the center of international investigations. Interpol, the largest international police organization, issued a “red notice” requested by Finland, while Europol officially added him to its list of most wanted criminals.
Accusations of tax evasion and assault
Finnish authorities issued an arrest warrant against Heart for crimes of tax evasion of “hundreds of millions of euros” and assault against a minor under 16 years of age. According to Europol, Heart failed to file corporate tax returns for several years and also failed to report income on its own pre-filled personal returns.
The documents also highlight a case of physical violence in which Heart is accused of grabbing the victim by the hair, dragging her to a ladder and repeatedly punching her in the face and head, causing “pain, bleeding and swelling.”
This information coincides with a previous report from September that indicated that the Finnish police were already investigating the businessman.
Heart’s reaction on social networks
Despite the seriousness of the accusations, Richard Heart seems to downplay the situation with a peculiar post on X. “It feels incredible to be wanted. “Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come,” said the businessman, probably alluding to the Interpol notification.
Furthermore, he stated that “he has never been safer” and showed enthusiasm for the future of his crypto projects, highlighting the operation of HEX and PulseX.
However, this is not the only legal pressure Heart faces. The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is also pursuing a case against him for the alleged sale of unregistered securities related to his cryptocurrency projects.
My whole life I’ve been preparing for the future. Anticipating it. Creating it. I’ve never been safer and I’m excited for the future.
The Honorable Justice in SEC v me should have her ruling out soon. Donald Trump will be in office soon. PulseX, PulseChain, HEX, INC are all…

Interpol and Europol at play
The red notice issued by Interpol is an alert to all its member countries about the existence of a valid national arrest warrant. Although it does not constitute an international arrest warrant, it generally leads to extradition proceedings if the wanted person is detained.
In parallel, inclusion on Europol’s most wanted list raises Heart’s visibility in efforts to locate him and bring him to justice.
The future of a controversial crypto leader
Richard Heart has been a polarizing figure within the cryptocurrency industry, garnering support from a fan base while, on the other hand, he has continued to face criticism and legal accusations. These new developments could have significant implications on both his personal life and the cryptocurrency projects he leads.
As the investigations progress, the crypto markets and Heart’s followers will be attentive to the judicial decisions, both in the European case and in the SEC lawsuit. For now, the self-proclaimed visionary faces one of the biggest challenges of his life, one that could redefine his legacy in the crypto world.
