Ripple Labs has donated $25 million to procrypto political action committee (PAC) Fairshake in a bid to deepen the Cryptocurrency industry’s newfound influence in Washington, D.C.
A super PAC collects campaign donations from corporations and wealthy individuals and distributes the funds to political candidates who are likely to advance their donors’ interests on Capitol Hill.

“Fairshake is the most successful bipartisan, multi-candidate super PAC in American history,” Garlinghouse said. “Electing pro-crypto, pro-growth, pro-innovation candidates is an obvious decision, and to continue that momentum, Ripple is contributing another $25M to Fairshake,” he stated.
This latest donation marks the company’s third injection of $25 million into Fairshake in the past year, according to campaign finance data. The expenses signal Ripple Labs’ commitment to deepening its influence on Capitol Hill, where the XRP-focused company has long advocated for the passage of a comprehensive digital asset regulatory framework and has clashed with federal regulators, Stuart said Tuesday. Ripple Labs’ donation comes just weeks after two of Fairshake’s biggest donors, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and Andreessen Horowitz’s cryptocurrency-focused division a16z, donated another $25 million and $23 million respectively to the committee.
To date, the super PAC has raised at least $73 million for the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, according to public comments and records.
Fairshake did not immediately respond to Decrypt’s request for comment on Ripple Labs’ $25 million donation.
Ripple Labs pointed to posts by its CEO and CLO on the matter, declining to provide additional comment on the donation.
Fairshake was the largest super PAC of the 2024 US election cycle, amassing a war chest of more than $200 million, according to nonprofit campaign finance observatory OpenSecrets. The funds gave the committee disproportionate influence in U.S. congressional races.
Of the 22 congressional candidates to whom Fairshake donated $1 million or more during the 2024 US election cycle, at least 90% defeated their political opponents, according to data from OpenSecrets.
