The ecosystem of Shiba Inu (CRYPTO:SHIB) announced an exclusive airdrop of its new meme Cryptocurrency Shifu (SHIFU) on Monday to reward their loyal community members.
What happened
“According to a post from the official Shiba Inu account, all holders of 100,000 SHIB tokens and 100 tokens Bubble (BUBBLE) — the native cryptocurrency of the ecosystem Imaginary Oneswith which Shiba Inu launched the meme cryptocurrency — will have access to approximately 22% of the supply.
Additionally, 4% of the supply would be reserved for Shib Games holders, Doge Killer (LEASH), Bone Shiba Swap (CRYPTO:BONE) and non-fungible tokens Shiboshi and Sheboshi.
Finally, 4% of the supply would be reserved for participants of the Imaginary Ones Carnival & NFTs.

Why is it important
SHIFU was the latest to join the growing Shiba Inu ecosystem, with Shytoshi Kusamathe mysterious leader of the project, actively working with Kaal Dhairya, another key figure in the ecosystem, and the Imaginary Ones team to get it up and running.
Imaginary Ones is a Blockchain-based platform that uses digital art, video games, and NFTs to create an interactive ecosystem.

A cryptocurrency airdrop is a marketing maneuver in which a blockchain project sends free tokens to users’ wallets, mostly existing users, to promote the spread of the new cryptocurrency.
SHIB, BONE, LEASH price movement
Shiba Inu tokens responded differently to the news. SHIB, the top meme cryptocurrency, is down 2.3% in the last 24 hours, BONE is down 0.9%, while LEASH is up 6.6% according to data from Benzinga Pro.
