The closing event for Singapore’s Token2049 on September 18-19 will close with a “glimpse into the future of live entertainment” from spatial audio pioneers Polygon Productions, event founder Raphael Strauch announced.
Taking place on Friday 20 September at Marina Bay Sands’ SkyPark Observation Deck, CÉ LA VI Restaurant and Club Lounge, After2049 will feature musical performances including headliners WhoMadeWho, South African DJ and producer Da Capo, and artists ANONM, Leon, Milam and Mo-Shi.
The performances will offer guests an “unprecedented audio-visual spectacle,” Strauch said in a press release accompanying the news. Attendees will be immersed in a 360-degree audio experience using Polygon Productions’ audio technology, which deploys a circular array of speaker stacks powered by L-Acoustics L-ISA technology, allowing the music to move “above, around and through the audience.”
“This will be a night to remember,” said Nico Elliott, CEO of Polygon Productions.
