Hamster Kombat’s long-awaited token launch and airdrop occurred last week, and while the game is currently in the midst of a brief “interlude” season before embarking on a broad future plan, players are starting to look the upcoming hot games that have not yet launched their own tokens.
Luckily, we’ve been up to our necks in gaming on Telegram this whole time, both playing the other big games in progress and testing out a slew of newcomers that are starting to gain traction.
Looking to try out some cryptocurrency games on Telegram with Hamster Kombat moving into its post-airdrop phase? Here are seven games we’ve been playing, both new and established, that are still working toward their respective token drops.
X Empire
It’s the last chance for the first game on this list: The Elon Musk-themed game X Empire (originally Musk Empire) is finishing its Mining phase. If you’ve already played, now is the time to join in and invest your in-game coins into some upgrades for your character. And if you’re totally new to this tap-to-win game, then it’s well worth a try and see if you can still get a piece of the X token drop.
Captain Tsubasa: Rivals
Based on a classic anime/manga IP from decades past, Captain Tsubasa: Rivals is probably the most compelling Hamster Kombat clone we’ve seen lately, putting a football-themed spin on the familiar formula. Instead of running and expanding an exchange, you’ll build a skilled soccer team and upgrade your stadium. It’s still about tapping and navigating menus, but the change in atmosphere helps differentiate it from its obvious inspiration.
Flappy Bird
The iconic mobile game Flappy Bird has returned as a mini app on Telegram. It’s the same game you may have nostalgic memories of, where you tap the screen to help guide a bird through a series of approaching pipes, but now it has new content and incoming cryptocurrencies. New characters, upcoming game modes, and the promise of a future airdrop of its upcoming FLAP token could fuel this revival on Telegram.
Farm Frens
Farm Frens is simply the cutest Telegram game we’ve played yet, combining an Animal Crossing-like vibe with an idle farm experience where you’ll gradually purchase upgrades to expand your land, recruit more helpers, and increase your income. It’s simple, but very charming, and we hope it continues to expand with more gameplay features.

Major
Major is one of the best games on Telegram: it doesn’t hide its social tasks behind a thinly veiled clicker game, nor does it pretend to be anything more than an engagement machine. You’ll simply play the four mini-games to earn points and perform social tasks to climb the leaderboard. Of course, this is all in pursuit of the future MAJOR token: the higher your rating, the better you will likely do in air distribution.
MemeFi
Tap-to-earn combat game MemeFi has been around for a few months, but with the token listing scheduled for early October, now is your last chance to join in, beat up some meme-inspired villains, and rack up coins before from the airdrop. Unlike most games on Telegram that launch their tokens on The Open Network (TON), MemeFi plans to launch online.
Seed
We’ve been exploring Seed for a couple of months, not entirely sure what was happening or where it would take us. We’ve planted seeds, held lively birds, and collected insects… all of which was quite enjoyable, although it wasn’t quite clear what it all meant together. But now there’s an airdrop on the horizon and the official Telegram channel is attracting millions of new subscribers, so you might want to keep an eye on this.
