Heather “Razzlekhan” Morgan has released a song she claims to have written in solitary confinement during preparations for her sentencing for the infamous $10.8 billion Bitfinex hack in 2016.
The rapper is still deciding between the titles “Stay Strong” or “Miss Someone.” The song is about dealing with separation from a loved one. This refers to not seeing her husband, Ilya Lichtenstein, outside the courtroom for the past three years.
“Remember that neither time nor space can break that bond. Even in death, the soul lives on,” Razzlekhan raps, reading from a deteriorated notebook. “I know it can hurt like hell. This pain makes you feel bad. Whether you are separated, dead or in jail. Serving life in prison or unable to pay bail. Just know that you are not alone.”

The rapper and Bitcoin thief was sentenced to 18 months in prison in November for her role in the Bitfinex hack. Morgan and her husband stole $11.7 billion worth of BTC (at the current price) from the exchange before laundering it through various coin mixers and darknet markets.
Morgan claims to have been in solitary confinement for most of her time in jail, leading up to her sentencing—she says there was no “clear reason” why she was kept there. During this period, in February 2022, he was recovering from surgery with an open wound, he explains.
“I had, honestly, some pretty dark moments. I was pretty positive most of the time,” Morgan said, “I managed to stay strong except when I got COVID, probably from the guard. It was just, you know, a couple of moments where I really lost hope. They were few, but it happened.”
That’s when he decided to write a song about missing his partner, who was sentenced to five years in prison for his involvement in the case.
Razzlekhan rapped the closing of his song: “Keep praying for what the future will bring. Inshallah.”
Immediately, without missing a beat, she began a monologue about her outfit—which she says she sewed while she was under home confinement.
“This is cheesy but—if you like my outfit, you’re wondering about it—I sewed it myself when I was on home confinement,” she said, pointing to her top and leggings. “My mother taught me how to sew, and I sewed the whole thing.”
Morgan and Lichtenstein confessed to the crime last summer, agreeing to hand over all funds obtained from the attack—including gold coins the couple purchased and buried.
Before her arrest, Morgan had made a name for herself due to her role as a writer, rapper, and social media influencer. Specifically, his song ‘Versace Bedouin’ has amassed over 450,000 views on YouTube. The song is meant to represent who she is, “a badass CEO and rapper,” the video’s description states.
Now destined to spend 18 months in prison, and her husband up to five years, the couple will no longer be able to communicate.
“It’s going to be really hard not being able to communicate directly while we’re both cooped up for a while,” Morgan said. “But I know we’ll get through it somehow.”
