Decrypt and Rug Radio’s new MYRIAD digital media ecosystem kicks off in style with its first Community Contest, in collaboration with NFT collection Pudgy Penguins.
Prizes in the contest include two Lil’ Pudgys NFTs awarded in a raffle, along with 50 Faces of Web3 NFTs for the best traders and forecasters on the MYRIAD platform.
“We are excited to partner with the iconic Pudgy Penguins collection for our first MYRIAD Community Contest,” said Ilan Hazan, Co-Founder and COO of Decrypt and Rug Radio’s parent company, DASTAN. “Pudgy Penguins was Decrypt’s 2023 NFT Project of the Year, defying the downward trend by building during the bear market and bringing its lovable characters to the general public through physical product and video game releases.”

The Pudgy Penguins NFT collection has expanded beyond digital assets, with more than $10 million in physical toy sales through major retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Walgreens. The collection is set to launch its first video game, Pudgy Party, on iOS and Android in 2025, and recently announced the launch of its PENGU token on the Solana Blockchain.
How to participate
In MYRIAD Community Contests, users of the MYRIAD app and extension can participate in activities in the Decrypt and Rug Radio digital media ecosystems to earn points within the platform, which can be wagered in the prediction markets of MYRIAD and traded within the ecosystem (note: points have no real monetary value).
Each point earned during the Community Contest corresponds to a raffle ticket for a Lil’ Pudgy NFT, depending on the points earned counted according to the Top Traders table. A raffle will be held for each of the two Lil’ Pudgy NFTs, with the winner of the first being eliminated from subsequent raffles.

In the best traders competition, 25 Faces of Web3 NFTs will be awarded to the top traders in the MYRIAD ranking, using prediction accuracy as the tiebreaker. Another 25 NFTs will be distributed among the users with the highest number of correct predictions, using the accumulated score to resolve ties. If a participant qualifies in both categories (Top Traders and Top Predictors), they will receive a unique NFT through the Top Traders category, ceding their position in Top Predictors to the next eligible participant.
Pudgy Penguins and Lil’ Pudgys holders can also claim extra points in MYRIAD Missions, with Pudgy Penguins NFT holders qualifying for anywhere from 2,000 points per Pudgy Penguin, up to a maximum of 10,000 points, and Lil’ Pudgy holders Pudgys eligible to earn between 200 points per NFT, up to a maximum of 1,000 points.
